"Il Divino" - Linocut Print
Linocut print on Japanese rice paper. This paper is very delicate and thin, so the print is packed with a Bristol board backing. It is an edition of 100 prints only, which means that when sold out, they will officially retire!
Because these are 100% handmade, there are unique variations of paper and print characteristics. Each print is unique! :)
Linocut is the printing technique of transferring an image to a Lino block and hand-carving out the negative space, like a stamp. Ink is then applied to the surface with a roller and the paper is placed on top to transfer the ink.
Size: 5” x 7” or 12, 5 cm x 17,5 cm.
